We are a very popular and up and coming Wiki in the Horror Genre Community, and we are currently the #2 Wiki That specializes in that field!
I noticed your contributions to the community in bits and pieces, and I was wondering if you wanted to work together in attracting users to our sites! In doing so, our wiki’s shall gain even more support from the community(s) more than they’ve ever had before! Come to my wiki if you have any questions regarding the plan, or if you have any questions regarding me and my wiki!
I wanted to establish myself somewhere else, so I decided to adopt the abandoned Spinpasta 2.0 Wiki, and revamp it into something new...Something to compete with the creepypasta wiki, but that's totally out the window now. I am currently focused on getting new staff members for my wiki
well what happened is that i got copywrighted because of a soundtrack that was on my editing proggrame, so why is it copywrighted when it was added there its just a bunch of bs so now i ended up deleting the video
Some people are way too sensitive when it comes to things like that. Letting someone use a little bit of music for a video isn't going to hurt them any. I mean...wouldn't that be free publicity for their music? Do they just look through videos to see if they can strike people?
I think the Internet issues I had are resolved, so that's good!
As you can see here and here, I've reviewed every story that I haven't written. All that's left is for someone to review my stories and the reminder of the current Master Souls Revived stories. Since it wouldn't be fair if I reviewed my own stories, you and/or Icy will have to review them. There's no time limit, so take as long as you want.
It could be that school and other things are taking up a lot of time right now. This wikia won't be lonely or inactive as long as we're here. It can be frustrating, but some things take time. It used to be that no one seemed to notice my stories, but as time passed I got feedback and was even discovered by some narrators. I think we're off to a good start. We have a number of stories written by multiple writers, so that allows people who visit to see this is a legitimate website. We're also pretty much free from drama, so that's a plus too.
Um, what?! I work on this site all the time! You can tell by my contributions page. Can't I take a couple days off now and then? I've worked on this site constantly for months. I have things to attend to other than this site.
Apology accepted. It hurt my feelings because I've contributed to this site faithfully and then was labelled inactive after a short time. You had also said people would be inactive if they didn't contribute for two weeks, and I had contributed more recently than that. I think what happened is you became so worried about the site being inactive that you started obsessing over it. You don't have to be afraid because the site is still active. I did try to protect some pages, but it failed for some reason. I really should have said something that day (I don't remember why I didn't, but I'm sorry I didn't say something). Give me a step-by-step and I can try it again. I do like the pictures for the Stories without reviews, Reviewed stories, and Stories of the month pages.
I do. I can make them into stories when either of us is ready. I have two trollpastas, one about an odd banshee sighting and one about "the most terrifying Halloween figure". Both stories are comical in nature (kind of like a satire of traditional horror stories).
I think a big concern was that it used 9/11 for shock value (I saw someone say it was used as a cheap "predicting the future" gimmick). From what I've read of the original (or what I was told was the original), it was long and had some plot holes. For instance, the narrator said their stalker had been arrested, but then a couple days later they said they were being stalked again, with no mention on why or how the stalker was free (as if they forgot that they said he'd been arrested just one paragraph before). When I tried to read the whole thing (the original version), my computer had an issue which required it to be restarted, and I never went back to read the rest because I had lost all interest.
This wikia is all about scary content such as pictures, videos, stories and narrations. at the moment many people are inactive the reason is unknown unfortunitly so if you plan on adding your own stories and such. then remember to stay as active as possible.
Thank you for adding categories for the different authors on here! :-D I've added the Raidra category to all my stories. Sometime soon I plan to get my old laptop, get my old pictures, and add them to my stories.
What I was trying to say is this coming week might be pretty busy, but I should be able to post a draft for the end of the collaboration tomorrow night, and hopefully I can read/review one or two stories per day after the collab is over.
Also, I haven't reviewed any of my own stories because I feel a little awkward. That's why even though the Jack the Stalker story is good, I haven't given much feedback about it. I can if you want me too, though. As for my other stories, I could leave comments in the form of behind-the-scenes looks.
Update i have sent our collab to the writhers workshop on the creepypasta wikia but of course theres still some grammer mystakes for once i thought they would have found no mystakes but no of course not!
why dont they just fix the stories themselves. is the question
I looked a little. I haven’t read through the criticisms carefully, and I don’t know how or if I’m going to respond, but some of the points are valid and some aren’t. I don’t get the “Oh, it’s too long!” criticism. A story should be however long is needed to convey the whole story, whether that means it ends up being two sentences long or two hundred pages long. You can’t have a story like, “Once upon a time, there was an ugly stalker. He was so ugly that everyone died! The end!” One of the guys saying that criticized another draft I did by saying it was too long. It’s not a bias against me, but I don’t know what it is. A story has to be organic, and I’m not going to shorten a story just because one person complained.
Another criticism I didn’t like was the complaint that he did the crimes in public and “got away with it.” No, he didn’t. Besides, a lot of people do crimes in public and get away with it. You try to be realistic and creative instead of going a cliched supernatural powers route and people still complain. Their suggestions for alternate endings stunk too. Since when is the killer getting caught a bad ending?
Normally I’m very good with criticism, but this just rubbed me the wrong way. If they’re biased against long stories, then they should just admit it. It’s not like we rambled on and on and on with no point. I can work on the verb tense issues, but I’m not changing the ending. Anyway, I’ll see what other badges are awaiting me :-)
I have to go now, but I want to compliment you before I go because you’re not afraid to ask for stories to be proofread, corrected, reviewed, etc. You just want to tell stories; you don’t try to act like you’re better than anybody.
Okay, I went through and tried to make the verb tenses consistent throughout the story, and also corrected a couple mistakes of mine that I hadn't noticed before. I haven't changed the content of the story and don't plan to. It's sad that there are people out there who seem to prefer short, boring stories with uncreative characters and frustrating endings.
By the way, since you asked me to correct any typos and whatnot that need correcting, does that mean if I find one on a page like the guidelines page, front page, etc, I have permission to fix it? I wouldn't be changing any rules or anything, just correcting any mistakes if there are any.
Why did you add random pictures to my stories? A few of them, like the one for "The Watch on the Arm" and "Induced Amnesia" are okay, but if you're going to add pictures, I would prefer the original illustrations I had. Please don't add or remove pictures without my knowledge or consent.
We can work together on this. I can either add pictures on my own or I can offer suggestions and we can give each other feedback before picture-related edits are made. For instance, I feel what would be better for "The Beast of Genov" would be something like this, this, or this. I can suggest more later because I've been dealing with a headache today.
I tried to edit my most of my links into pictures the best I can, but please understand that I'm not good at this. Some are still links or are too large because I don't know how to resize the pictures. Since I consider stories with videos to have pictures, my only stories currently with zero pictures are "The Beast of Genov" and "Van's Nightmare". I've given suggestions for the first one and here's a potential picture for the last one.
Not yet, but there are a few stories I've thought about posting here. They were either deleted by the original wiki or never officially posted, so if I did post them here, they'd be exclusive to this site.
Hello! It had slipped my mind that I'd offered to post my stories here, but now I'm ready. I've checked the guidelines and so there shouldn't be any problem with that. The only issue is someone might have to fix the pictures because it's been so long since I've copied my stories to a different site that they might not show up.
