I used to work on automatic cars that drive by themselves. I was a tester and I had lots of successful tests, but for some reason everything went wrong as I tested an automatic Mazda. This version did not have a way to manually drive it in case of an emergency, but I would get paid fairly if I tried so I risked it. I inserted the key and it started moving at medium speed. The directions seemed to be doing okay for a few minutes until they started changing.
I was confused as this never happened before. I tried to change the settings, but that made it worse. The layout of the directions was gone; it was only showing a dark screen. The car then turned off-track into a forest. It was dark and I tried to bail out, but the doors were locked. The car kept moving faster and faster. The car was close by a large tree. Seconds before the car crashed into it, I jumped out the window and fell on the ground.
The car was busted, no longer usable. I was fine and I thanked God for that. My view was blurry, but I swear that I saw some transparent humanoid figure staring at me from the driver's seat, laughing at me.
I ran away as fast as I could. I called my boss to come pick me up on the streets and I resigned.
